What We Do
We're all about kids, families, and making Bartlesville a genuinely fun place to live. Throughout the year we run programs and events that bring people together, give local youth new opportunities, and celebrate everything that makes this town special.
You'll find us at the Fishing Derby, Freedom Fest, Celebrate Giving, and the Bartlesville Christmas Parade — plus running Sooner Junior Miniature Golf all summer long. Sooner Junior isn't just fun and games, either: the proceeds go straight into scholarships and youth programs, helping local students get where they're headed.
However we're showing up — hosting an event, handing out a scholarship, or backing another local organization doing good work — it all comes back to the same thing: making life a little better for the kids and families of Bartlesville.
About our Service Projects
Fishing Derby
A Kiwanis tradition since 1951 — kids ages 3 to 12 cast a line and compete for the longest catch in their category. Trophies for the winners, prizes for everyone else.
Sooner Junior
Our biggest project of the year: a mini-golf course we run every summer, May through September. Proceeds help fund the scholarships we award each spring.
Freedom Fest
Food trucks, live music, and fireworks over Sooner Park every Fourth of July. Bring sunscreen — Oklahoma summer doesn't hold back.
Celebrate Giving
Our annual nonprofit showcase, where local organizations get a stage to share their stories, recruit volunteers, and raise a little money. Free admission, food, a cash bar, and a whole lot of community spirit.
Christmas Parade
Downtown Bartlesville lights up for our nighttime holiday parade, with floats, families, and businesses filling the streets every December. A tradition that's been going for generations.
